Parent Child Resource Center Awards Dinner Is March 24

The Parent Child Resource Center (PCRC) is hosting their annual awards dinner on Tuesday March 24. 

PCRC wants to celebrate the success of their agency and community with an evening of cocktails, dinner, award presentations, and a guest speaker. 

Sarah Eagan will be speaking about her professional experience with Mental Health and the Office’s recent report, which was released on November 21, 2014: Shooting At Sandy Hook Elementary School.”

The award recipients are Pamela Lorenzo and Carol Pendagast. 

Lorenzo is a Program Manager/Clinical Supervisor of the Visiting Nurse Association of South Central CT’s Nurturing Families Network (NFN) program, which provides in-home parenting education services to first-time parents and families with a second child in 16 towns and cities in the state.

Pendagast is the vice president of Human Resources at Serra & DelVecchio and has been a dedicated volunteer, supporting PCRC at events from its signature cycling fundraiser Pedal for PCRC,” to Shelton Day.

Lorenzo will receive the Mary Lou Cook Award for Outstanding Service to Children and Families. 

Pendagast will receive the Joseph A. Pagliaro, Sr. Award for Distinguished Service to Children and Families. 

The cost is $50 per person.
