The Seymour Oxford Rotary Club continues to support the poor of Haiti, via the Haitian Health Foundation’s “Give-A-Goat” project.
The photograph depicts Roxane Dimanche, the Haitian Health Foundation Director of the goat project in the town of Jeremie. Also pictured is a female pregnant goat, held by a boy from the family that received it.
Offspring are either sold or used to begin to increase the herd and the male goats are used to provide animal protein to the diet.

The goat milk is also an important protein supplement for children. This project will provide some self-sufficiency to the people in Jeremie, Haiti.
