State Senator Joseph J. Crisco, Jr. (D‑Woodbridge) will host his annual Senior Fair from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Warsaw Park, 119 Pulaski Highway (Route 243) in Ansonia.
This year’s event will feature flu shots with Medicare or an insurance card, a box lunch, free dental and blood pressure screenings, healthy food tips, door prizes, senior bingo, giveaways, advice on advoiding scams and staying safe, veterans benefits, and advice from 40 different agencies and organizations.
Transportation is provided by Valley Transit (for Ansonia and Derby residents with 24 hours’ notice), and by the Woodbridge Senior Center (free for Woodbridge seniors and the disabled).
This annual event, which is held every October, is a free event offered as a public service; political campaign activity is strictly prohibited.
