Mayor Cassetti and the City of Ansonia are assisting TEAM Inc. in helping out the families that lost everything this past weekend in a devastating fire.
A house fire at 122 Liberty St., a three-family apartment, spread to a nearby house at 55 Fourth St., a two-family apartment. Both homes sustained heavy damage and all residents were forced to find temporary living quarters.
TEAM Inc. has started a fund for the affected families. You can donate online at http://teaminc.org. All donations will go directly to the families that were affected.
We are also looking for donations of furniture, clothing and infant supplies.
Landlords are requested to contact Team if they have any vacant rental properties available. Storage area for donated items will also be needed.
