Unfortunately, The Great Give — an online fundraiser for a ton of nonprofit groups, including the Valley Indy — was marred by tech issues across the U.S. Tuesday.
But the Valley Indy’s Great Give Webcast will resume Wednesday at 7 a.m.
Donations are still being accepted at Donate.ValleyIndy.org.
The Great Give is an event happening all over the U.S.
The Great Give website problems started Tuesday, when the national firm that runs the web platform for all 54 Great Give events failed to keep up with the demand, according to a story in The New Haven Independent.
Across the U.S., people had trouble making donations on the web platform. In Pittsburgh, the event was postponed.
Community Foundation for Greater New Haven CEO Will Ginsberg said he will decide at 8 a.m. Wednesday whether to suspect the local Great Give and reschedule, or extend the deadline to noon Thursday (May 5).
