Valley Indy Great Give Webcast, Day 2

The Valley Indy Great Give Webcast, sponsored by Griffin Hospital, has ended.

Thank you to all the nonprofit leaders who participated in the interviews — and a big thank you to the more than 100 people who donated to the Valley Indy as of 11:36 p.m. Wednesday.

Although the webcast is over, please keep in mind you can donate to the Valley Indy through the Great Give until 12 p.m. Thursday. Click here to show your support.

Post from Wednesday morning follows:

The Valley Indy Great Give Webcast resumed at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The Great Give is a 36-hour online fundraiser for hundreds of nonprofit groups. There were problems with the donation page Tuesday — but those problems were resolved as of 8 a.m. Wednesday, according to Great Give officials.

The deadline for The Great Give has been extended to 12 p.m. Thursday. If you tried to donate to the Valley Indy Tuesday but could not, please try again.

Between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 1 a.m. Wednesday the Valley Indy conducted 30-minute interviews with Griffin Hospital, TEAM Inc., Literacy Volunteers, Center Stage Theatre, Valley United Way, Valley Shakespeare Festival, the Parent Child Resource Center, Housatonic Council Boy Scouts, CT Folk, Treasured Time, and the Seymour Pumpkin Festival.
