BAD SONS Brewery raised $1,637 for The Valley United Way last month.
The brewery at 251 Roosevelt Drive in Derby created a “charity tap line,” donating $1 from every beer sold from the designated tap.
It’s a concept the brewery will continue every month with different nonprofit groups.
The partners in the brewery — John Walsh, Bill DaSilva, Mark DaSilva, Dan DiSorbo, and Mike Student — all have local ties.
It’s important to give back to the community, they said.
