Crews are scheduled to take down the venerable field house at the Leo F. Ryan Athletic Complex on Chatfield Street this morning.

The demo is part of a redevelopment happening on the property. A new field house will be constructed to replace it. Parts of the field house, such as duct work with hand-written messages from old Derby athletes and coaches, will be saved.
A new track and football field is under construction, along with a new baseball/softball field.
