Michael Meneo, age 93, of Derby entered into rest on Monday, March 3, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the devoted husband of 66 years to Roseann (Teodosio) Meneo. Mike was born in Derby on September 14, 1931 son of the late Anthony and Anna (DeFrisco) Meneo and was a lifelong Derby resident.

He was a proud US Army veteran who served during the Korean conflict. He started his career at Sikorsky Aircraft for 15 years before taking a position at USM Corporation for 10 years and then went on to finish his career at NASDA until his retirement. Mike was a member of the Sutter-Terlizzi American Legion Post # 16 for 25 years and also a member of their Horseshoe League. He cherished spending time with his family, especially swimming with his grandchildren, and will fondly be remembered for always having a smile on his face.

Mike was the beloved father of Louann Meneo and Suzann Glowa, grandfather of Jaimie Biga, David Biga (Erin), Michael Glowa and Andrea Glowa and also leaves two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Anthony Meneo and Angelina Geriak and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James Meneo.

Friends may call on Tuesday March 11 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Wednesday, his funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 AM for his Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM at St. Mary Church. His burial with military honors will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
