James Richard “Jim” Rentz, age 70 of Oxford, entered into peaceful rest with his devoted wife of 45 years, Linda by his side. Jim was born in Bridgeport, son of the late George and Caroline (Eddenger) Rentz. He grew up in Fairfield and moved to Oxford which became the home he loved.
He was also predeceased by his brother Robert Rentz.
Calling Hours will be Sunday July 27th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be private.
