Giuseppe Lupone, age 68, of Derby entered into rest on Monday, August, 4, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of 45 years to Renee M. (Herbette) Lupone. Giuseppe was born in Tocco da Casauria, Italy on September 2, 1956 son of the late Eustachio and Ida (Pettinella) Lupone and was a Derby resident for 43 years. Giuseppe and Renee met 51 years ago in Derby.
He was a master carpenter for many years until his retirement. He was the former president of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, member of the Circolo Sportivo in Bridgeport and the Carpenters Local Union 210. Giuseppe also enjoyed playing cards, bocce, dancing, working in his yard, dining out, traveling to Italy and Delray Beach and spending time at the beach. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.
Giuseppe was the beloved father of Joseph (Cristina) Lupone and Michael Lupone, loving grandfather of Gabriella, Rosalia and Giuliano Lupone, brother of Carlo (Mina) Lupone, Santino (Santina) Lupone and Luciano (Elena) Lupone and brother-in-law of Eugene Herbette. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews, and loving life-long friends.
On Monday, August 11th, friends may greet the family from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Tuesday, August 12th, his funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church.
