SEYMOUR: William J. Novack, age 59, entered eternal rest on August 4, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the loving husband of Cherri (Persson) Novack.

Born in Derby on February 14, 1966, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Noela Choszczyk Novack. Bill was raised in Ansonia then moved to Seymour where he resided since 1993. He graduated in 1985 from the automotive department of Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia. Bill was employed as a water filtration specialist for Foley’s Pump Service in Danbury for many years, until his illness. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the United States Army. Bill loved the ocean and took yearly trips to Virginia Beach with his family to enjoy the serenity of the water. He also enjoyed boating and going fishing with his family. He was a car enthusiast with a special affinity for his 1967 Chevy Nova Super Sport. His hobbies included anything radio controlled, building model boats, cars and airplanes, flea markets and listening to music. He was a member of the Ansonia Rod and Gun Club. Bill was known for his culinary skills, always exploring new recipes. His greatest accomplishment however, are the strong family bonds he nurtured and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

In addition to his wife Cherri, Bill leaves to cherish his memory, sons, William J. Novack (Amber) of Hampstead, NC, and Michael J. Novack of Seymour, daughters, Jennifer D. Novack, Veronica A.
