PJ’s for Kids Day Is Coming — December 12, 2025!
Get your comfiest, coziest pajamas ready because on Friday, December 12, 2025, our community is joining hundreds of schools, towns, and businesses across Connecticut to support Connecticut Children’s Hospital and the brave kids fighting cancer and other serious illnesses.
On PJ Day, with just a $1 donation, you get to wear your pajamas to school and every dollar goes directly to the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at Connecticut Children’s.
Students must receive a hand stamp after donating, this stamp is your “PJ Pass” and is required to wear pajamas for the day. As a reminder, this is not a just a general dress down day, PJ’s are required to participate. Our fundraising goal this year is $500, and with everyone showing up in cozy style, we know we can reach it!
Why pajamas?
Many children undergoing treatment spend days, weeks, or longer in their pajamas while receiving care. PJ Day lets us stand in solidarity with them showing support, raising awareness, and helping fund the expert care they depend on.
Since the first PJ Day in 2011, Connecticut communities have raised over $4.7 million, including more than $698,000 in 2024 alone—all supporting local children and families. It’s simple, fun, and deeply meaningful.
Want to help us hit our $500 goal?
You can support PJ Day in two ways:
- Bring $1 (or more!) on December 12th to wear your PJs and receive your hand stamp.
- Make a secure online donation anytime:

Every dollar brings hope, comfort, and support to kids and families right here in Connecticut. Together—cozy step by cozy step—we’re making a real difference.
Let’s get our town on the PJ Day map this December 12th—one pair of pajamas (and one hand stamp!) at a time!
