SEYMOUR: Paulette Ljungquist, age 69, entered eternal rest on January 8, 2026, at Gardner Heights Healthcare Center in Shelton.
Born in Bridgeport on March 13, 1956 she was the daughter of the late Paul Clarence and Edith Dean Ljungquist Laird. Paulette dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Certified Nurse Aide for Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation in Shelton and provided compassionate home healthcare services in the community. Known for her strong will and unconditionally caring heart, Paulette fought for her family and beliefs with determination and love. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Paulette leaves to cherish her memory, brothers, Allen Ljungquist (Ann) of Oxford, William Ljungquist (Lisa) of Delaware, Keith Ljungquist of Oxford, and Christopher Ljungquist of California, sisters, Linda Ljungquist Greco of Oxford, Cheryl Ljungquist Ozelski of Bethel, and Colene Ljungquist Hebert (Thomas) of Naugatuck, grandchildren, Ricky Boyce Jr. of Bristol, and Alexis O’Dell of South Carolina, a great-granddaughter, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sons, Ricky Boyce Sr. and David Hipler, brother, Paul Ljungquist and sister, Brenda Lee Ljungquist.
A visitation in celebration of Paulette’s life will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
