Jan. 19, 11:28 a.m. Police received a 911 hangup call from Fountain Lake Road. The caller was trying to set up Apple Car Play and accidentally dialed 911.

Jan. 19, 12:32 p.m. Police received a 911 hangup call from Roosevelt Drive. The caller said her child was playing with the phone.

Jan. 19, 12:32 a.m. A caller from the Newport Academy on Roosevelt Drive reported a teen patient was out of control. The patient was taken to a hospital.

Jan. 19, 2:04 p.m. A caller from Franklin Street reported that a man was creating a disturbance inside a store because the wait was too long.

Jan. 20, 2:15 a.m. A 35-year-old Shelton woman was charged with use of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Jan. 20, 2:17 a.m. A burglar alarm was triggered at a commercial property on Great Hill Road. The building was secure, police reported.

Jan. 20, 7:50 a.m. A minor crash involving a police officer was reported in the area of Maple and Main streets.

Jan. 20, 11:09 a.m. Police assisted a caller asking about why her Internet was out.

Jan. 20, 3:23 p.m. A resident from Emma Street reported someone stole a television off his porch.

Jan. 21, 8:49 a.m. A woman from Balance Rock Road said her car had been ransacked and that her ignition had been tampered with to the point the car would no longer start. The glove box and center console were open, but nothing was taken from the car.

Jan. 21, 9:14 a.m. An employee from Stop & Shop reported a man was in the store on Franklin Street yelling and spitting on people. The man was “trespassed” from the store, meaning he’s been banned.

Jan. 21, 2:16 p.m. A resident from Balance Rock Road said someone tried to steal cabinets from his apartment’s storage unit. The caller said nothing was taken, but there were signs that someone tried to get into the storage unit.

Jan. 21, 7:40 p.m. Police received a 911 hangup call from Holbrook Road. The caller said she was playing with her Apple watch and misdialed.

Jan. 22, 1:47 a.m. A caller reported a car crash on Bungay Road. A vehicle was off in the woods. Anthony Lucibella, 26, of Oxford, was charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court Feb. 5.

Jan. 22, 4:51 p.m. A crash was reported on Pearl Street.

Jan. 22, 8:22 p.m. Police received a noise complaint from Chamberlin Road.

Jan. 22, 8:55 p.m. A caller reported possible narcotics activity on School Street involving a dark sedan. The vehicle wasn’t on scene when police responded.

Jan. 23, 11:40 a.m. Police checked on a report of suspicious activity on Mountain Road, where a caller said a man was taking a neighbor’s propane tank. Police said the man was collecting the tank for his employer. No issue found.

Jan. 23, 12:17 p.m. A motor vehicle crash was reported on Squantuck Road.

Jan. 23, 4:11 p.m. A caller asked for a welfare check on a woman who was posting videos on social media showing her drinking to excess at a restaurant. Police responded and the employees said the woman had left two hours prior.

Jan. 23, 6:59 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer on Great Hill Road.

Jan. 24, 1:23 a.m. A caller reported possible narcotics activity on School Street. No one was in the area when police arrived.

Jan. 24, 1:03 p.m. A caller reported a broken water line on Pearl Street. Aquarion was notified.

Jan. 24, 6:58 p.m. Police received a 911 hangup from Bellevue Terrace. A resident said a grandmother misdialed from her iPhone.

Jan. 24, 9:18 p.m. Several people called police to report that a car crashed into a utility pole on Maple Street. The driver was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Jan. 25, 12:24 a.m. An alarm sounded at Pub 67 on West Street. No criminal activity, owner of business was notified.

Jan. 25, 4:34 a.m. A caller reported a house fire on Deerfield Drive.

Jan. 25, 7:56 a.m. A vehicle parked in violation of the winter parking ban was towed from Union Street.

Jan. 25, 8:19 a.m. Officers advised residents of vehicles parked on Bryson Avenue and Main Street about the winter parking ban. Five cars were moved.

Jan. 25, between 8:34 a.m. to 10:14 a.m. Police received several reports of vehicles parked on roads in violation of the winter storm parking rules. Residents removed cars after being told. One owner could not be reached so the vehicle was towed.

Jan. 25, 9:33 a.m. A car crash involving one vehicle was reported on Holbrook Road. Tow company could not remove the vehicle because of the snow storm. Vehicle was off the road and removed the next day.
