11:06 a.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at Bank Street and Klarides Village. No injuries were reported.
11:19 a.m. The manager of Webster Bank on New Haven Road (Route 67) told police he found a plastic Halloween butcher knife on the property while opening the bank.
12:46 p.m. The animal control officer reported a problem about a cat breaking into the basement of a house on Maple Street that needed to be removed.

2:29 a.m. Police issued a misdemeanor to the owner of a vehicle illegally parked on the sidewalk near the Strand Theater on Main Street.
11:07 a.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the Bank Street entrance to Route 8.
4:08 p.m. A Balance Rock Road resident told police she received a threatening phone call.
5:34 p.m. A Poplar Drive resident told police a neighbor’s dog bit her dog.
6:16 p.m. A caller told police a car was driving erratically on Mountain Road. Police said the car was gone upon their arrival.

6:44 a.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Roosevelt Drive and Squantuck Road. No injuries were reported.
3:52 p.m. A Maple Street resident told police water was leaking from his neighbor’s house. An officer said the homeowner was not home but found a garden hose was turned on and running. The officer turned the hose off.
5:10 p.m. A caller told police a group of teens were fighting in the street in the area of New and West streets. Police said the youths were gone upon their arrival.
9:45 p.m. Police charged Cheryle Corbo, 59, of Seymour, with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and evading responsibility.
10:53 p.m. A Hill Street resident told police someone in the area was playing loud music. An officer said no music was being played.

7:43 a.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at New Haven Road (Route 67) and Spruce Street. No injuries were reported.
9:46 a.m. Police received a 911 hang-up call from Seymour Middle School. Police confirmed it was a misdial.
10:58 a.m. A Pond Street resident told police he paid someone $300 via PayPal to purchase a pug puppy. The resident said he was unable to take delivery of the puppy and was unable to get a refund from the seller. Police made contact with the seller and said a refund was pending.
11:47 a.m. An Old Ansonia Road resident told police someone cashed two fraudulent checks in the amounts of $1,700 and $1,900 from her checking account.

2:58 p.m. Police received a 911 hang-up call from Meadow Street and confirmed it was a misdial.
3:49 p.m. Police issued an infraction to a driver on Maple Street.
4:44 p.m. Police received a report of an erratic driver cutting cars off on Bank Street. Police said the car was gone upon their arrival.
10:03 p.m. A Walnut Street resident told police he was the victim of fraud.

5:05 p.m. A caller told police there were icy conditions on Bungay Road. Police notified the public works department.
5:28 p.m. A caller told police they were concerned that a light post on Bank Street was going to fall.
9:20 p.m. Police charged Brian Scavone, 45, of Seymour, with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

10:17 a.m. A caller reported a bunch of miscellaneous items were dumped on the side of the road near Clinton Road.
1:52 p.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at Rimmon Street and Pershing Avenue.
7 p.m. Police charged a 39-year-old Seymour man with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
