OXFORD-SEYMOUR-SHELTON — First Light Power’s alert system sent a message 7:07 a.m. Thursday (March 12) warning there could be flooding along the Housatonic River.
Here is the message:
“This is First Light Power calling to upgrade the Lower Housatonic Flood Plan to Flood Warning.
River flows below Stevenson Dam are expected to rise above 14,000 cubic feet per second.
Please take your appropriate actions to ensure the affected public is notified.”
