Who? TEAM, Inc. is a private, nonprofit human services agency whose mission is to ensure the causes & conditions of poverty are being addressed and the communities, families, and individuals we serve are empowered & strengthened through education, support and opportunities.
Programs include basic needs and case management services, elderly services including Meals on Wheels, employment & training supports, housing assistance & supports, home heating assistance, regional diaper bank, early childhood & child care, and more. TEAM serves the communities of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Milford, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton and Woodbridge and also operates early childhood Head Start programs in Naugatuck and Waterbury. www.teaminc.org
What? TEAM’s Community Cookoff Fundraiser is our annual signature event that draws over 500 people together in support of our programs. Attendees enjoy all-you-can-eat food, an open bar, raffles, music, and our guest emcee – Chaz of Chaz & AJ!

TEAM, Inc. is selling all-inclusive tickets to this event ($65/ each) which guarantee attendees all-you-can-eat food, drinks (beer, wine, signature cocktails and soft drinks), music & dancing.
The wine will be generously donated by Jones Family Farms & Winery & beer provided by BAD SONS, New England Brewing Co, Brewport, Black Hog Brewing, Sam Adams. Specialty cocktails from Fruitful Mixology and Drinks Mechanics! Coffee will be provided by local Shelton shop, Kickstart Café. Entertainment from DJ Tim Beloin and special guest emcee – Chaz of Chaz & AJ!
Raffles will also be occurring at the event – ticket buyers have a chance to win a 7 day/ 6 night cruise to their choice of Alaska, the Caribbean, Mexico, or Canada/New England! Why? TEAM is now in need of our community’s support to ensure our ability to serve all individuals & families who walk through our doors in need of help. TEAM programs can be a vital support and step towards self-sufficiency for struggling residents of our region. TEAM serves over 19,000 individuals (and climbing) in our region through programs such as our regional Diaper Bank, Basic Needs & Case Management, Housing Assistance & Food Resources, Utilities Support, Income Tax Assistance, Job & Employment Training, Elderly Services including Meals on Wheels, Medical Transportation, Homemaking, and more. These programs and services can be life-changing and the needed boost to launch individuals into new, thriving chapters of their lives. There is no shortage of stories and experiences TEAM can share that illustrate the meaningful impact our programs have made in this community. As TEAM aims to keep up with the need, we appeal to our community to help ensure we can serve all of our neighbors in need.
