Good afternoon. Update of road closures from DOT.
Over the holiday weekend, two locations along Route 53 in Weston and Redding were opened.
Bridge 5420 carrying Route 6 in Southbury over Stiles Brook has been repaired and is reopen to two-way traffic.
Two different sites on Route 67 in Oxford were opened on Friday night – Route 67 near Route 42 and Route 67 near Old State Road No. 2.
Below is the latest road closure list remaining from the 8/18 Rain Event.
Oxford
Rt. 34 E – Coppermine Road to Loughlin Road. Shoulder, roadway, & structure failures.
Rt. 67 E – East Street to Parking Lot West of Great Hill Road. Moderate roadway washout.
Rt. 67 E – Between intersections with Community House Road. Structure, wingwall and abutment has collapsed.
Seymour
Rt. 313 E – SR 728 to Rt 67. Possible structure damage.
