Angeline R. (Uberti) Sciarappa, age 96, peacefully entered eternal rest on February 27, 2026, at Shelton Lakes Health Care Center in Shelton, with her daughter Shirley by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco J. Sciarappa Sr.
Angeline was born in Derby on October 13, 1929, daughter of the late Dominic and Liberata (Sonsini) Uberti. She graduated from Ansonia High School and resided in Derby, Milford, Trumbull, and Shelton during her lifetime. Angeline was a hairdresser in the Valley area and a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by daughters, Shirley Gaudio (Lori Maggi) of Stratford and Stella Halapin of Bridgeport, a son, John DelloRusso of MA, grandchildren, Brian Halapin, Eric Gaudio (Dayle), Michael Gaudio, Trevor DelloRusso and Miya DelloRusso, great-grandchildren, Dominic Gaudio, Brianna Gaudio, Harper Halapin, Hendrix Halapin, Luke Gaudio, and Cole Gaudio, as well as several loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Lawrence Gaudio, a daughter, Cheryl Sciarappa, a brother, James “Jumbo” Uberti, and sisters, Phyllis Hunt, Elizabeth Matricaria, and Marye Stearman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:30 am, by meeting directly at Saint Gabriel Church, 26 Broadway in Milford for a Mass of Christian Burial.
