Edward G. Beauchemin, age 90, entered eternal rest on June 8, 2026, at the Lutheran Home in Southbury. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia (Lukasavage) Beauchemin.

Born in Bridgeport on November 20, 1935, he was the son of the late George and Amanda (Arsenault) Beauchemin. Ed grew up in Bridgeport then resided in Newtown and Beacon Falls for periods of time before retiring to Florida for many years and ultimately moving to Derby with his son and daughter-in-law. He was employed as a production manager for Sure-Lites Emergency Lighting in Oxford. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Korea. Ed was a true family man and loved spending time together with them and making lasting memories. In his younger years, his favorite hobby was snow skiing.

Edward leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Mark Beauchemin (Nancy) of Schertz, TX, Daniel T. Beauchemin (Dawn) of Derby and Edward P. Beauchemin (Shelley) of Sarasota, FL, grandchildren, Kristi Selvaraj (Victor), Kevin Beauchemin (Noelle), Gabrielle Michaels (James), Danielle Beauchemin, Zachary Frohn, Evelyn Beauchemin and Eliza Beauchemin along with six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Amanda Frohn.

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside funeral service on Thursday, June 18, 2026, by meeting directly at 9:00 am at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane in Middletown.
