ANSONIA: Charlotte M. (Vicidomino) Adamowski, age 83, entered eternal rest on August 20, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edward S. Adamowski.
Born in Derby on August 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Segatori) Vicidomino. Charlotte was a lifelong resident of Ansonia and a graduate of Ansonia High School. She was employed as an administrative assistant for Klarides Supermarket in both the Derby and Seymour locations, for over thirty years. In her earlier years, Charlotte enjoyed playing sports and was adventurous enough to take flying lessons. She loved nothing more than a house full of family and good food, which she herself enjoyed cooking. Charlotte cherished every moment spent with all of them and she leaves behind her legacy of unconditional love.
In addition to her husband Edward, Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Edward J. Adamowski (Steffanie Arduini) of Ansonia, sister, Carol Burness (Peter) of Manchester, CT, grandchildren, Ashley Adamowski, Kayla Tackach (Zack) and Julia Adamowski (Hiram Rosario), great-granddaughter, Charlotte Behrendt along with several nieces, nephews and other family members who loved her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
On Tuesday morning, her funeral will begin at 9:15 am from the funeral home then proceed to St. Joseph Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am.
Interment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
