SEYMOUR – The 60th Seymour Pumpkin Festival is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20 at French Memorial Park (62 Spruce St.).

There are more than 150 vendors scheduled to be there, including 20 Pumpkin Festival first-timers.

The annual festival raises money for scholarships, community organizations and youth programs.

New parking for 2026.
PARKING will ONLY be from CT Basement Systems (33 Progress Ave.).
Free parking, more free shuttles, easy access, according to the organizers.

10 a.m. – Opening ceremonies
12 p.m. – Costume contest and parade
12:30 p.m. – Pumpkin contest judging
1 p.m. –  Aimee’s Dance (Main Field)
3 p.m. –  Pick of the Patch Raffle- (Head quarters)
4 p.m. –  President contest drawing

Live music from Nashville Drive all day!

Plus: A scavenger hunt, petting zoo, ceramics, pumpkin painting, sensory experiments, pumpkin carving, caricature drawings, face painting, tattoos, Henna, slime, sand art and an appearance by the Saber Guild (a Star Wars lightsaber performing organization).

Feed Me

🌭 Great Hill Fire Department will be serving their famous hot dogs and hamburgers, a festival favorite for many attendees.

🥧 Seymour High School National Honor Society will once again be offering delicious pumpkin pie topped with plenty of whipped cream, the perfect fall treat.

🍩 And no visit to the festival would be complete without stopping by the Beacon Falls Lions Club, a longtime fan favorite known for their incredible fried dough. Whether you prefer it topped with sauce, sugar, or both, it’s a must-have festival tradition!
