Aliceya Rosina Meinhold, 2 ½ months old, rejoined the Lord on Monday, September 14, 2026. Aliceya is the cherished daughter of William C. Meinhold and Sharee A. Schiavone.
She was born June 29, 2026 in Derby.
She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Vincent G. and Cheryl A. Schiavone, her paternal grandmother Margie D’Ambrose, and her sister Sierra Eva Marie DelMoral. She is also survived by an aunt, Tara A. Wehmann (Brendan P), an uncle, Vincent J. Schiavone, and many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, William B. Meinhold.
Our Aliceya was a sweet, precious little baby girl. She loved being outdoors and spending time with Poppa and Grandma on the boat. She loved to be around people and always had a cute little smile that grew bigger as the days went by.
Aliceya, although only here for a short time you filled our lives with an unreplaceable amount of joy. She was beautiful, “Blue-ta-ful” which is what her parents called her! She had these gorgeous blue eyes that made anything wrong in life fade away. This gift to turn a bad day instantly into an amazing one!! Aliceya’s smile melted hearts instantly. Her aura was so bright it was downright blinding.
Even though she was with us for such a short time, she was loved and cherished by everyone.
Rest in peace our sweet little angel until we are together again. We will always love and miss you and remember the precious time we had together.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Her funeral service will begin in the parlor at Noon. Aliceya will be laid to rest following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
