DERBY — The following list contains calls received by city fire, police and EMS. It comes from emergency radio transmissions. Please be advised the list is the initial call from the public, so information is limited and not final.

Monday, Sept. 14

4:56 a.m. — The fire department was sent to the report of an overheating boiler on housing authority property on West Fourth Street.
4:57 a.m. — An ambulance crew was sent to West Fourth Street after a report of a man having chest pains.
1:39 p.m. — Liberty Bank reported receiving a fake check.
5:06 p.m. — A manhole cover was reported out of place in a commercial parking lot on New Haven Avenue.
5:56 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident was reported on 11th Street.

Tuesday, Sept. 15

5:50 a.m. — A burglar alarm was set off at a motor vehicle repair shop on Roosevelt Drive.
1:49 p.m. — An EMS crew was sent to the cancer center on Seymour Avenue to help a man who fell.
2:43 p.m. — A caller reported a dog left in a vehicle in Red Raider Plaza on Pershing Drive. Police said the windows were down, the dog was fine, and the owner was leaving.
8:19 p.m. — A caller said vehicles were parking illegally on Gilbert Street.

Wednesday, Sept. 16

3:55 a.m. — Officers were sent to the Griffin Hospital emergency room for a report of a uncooperative person.
8:49 a.m. — An erratic driver was reported traveling on 11th Street.
1:32 p.m. — An ambulance was sent to help a person who fell from a ladder on Commodore Commons Court.
2:48 p.m. — EMS and paramedics were sent to Cedric Avenue to help a person who was having trouble breathing.
6:13 p.m. — A clerk from an Elizabeth Street liquor store called to report a man was lying on the sidewalk outside the store.

Thursday, Sept. 17

1:33 a.m. — Police received a report saying it sounded like someone was trying to break into motor vehicles on Minerva Street.
1:38 a.m. — A caller reported that a BMW was stolen from Shagbark Drive.
2:06 a.m. — An ambulance was sent to Stygar Terrace to help a person who was suffering from leg pain.
3:33 a.m. — An ambulance crew was sent to Academy Hill Road to help an older woman having neck pain and trouble breathing.
7:36 a.m. — Police received a call about a truck stuck on Grove Street, obstructing traffic.
8:52 a.m. — A caller reported that people wearing ski masks stole packages from Selma Avenue.
4:26 p.m. — A Jeep hit a fence on Burtville Avenue and then drove away, a caller reported.
7:02 p.m. — The fire department checked out a report of a natural gas odor in the ShopRite shopping center on Pershing Drive.
9:03 p.m. — A caller reported a person asking for money outside a liquor store on Elizabeth Street.

Friday, Sept. 18

1:26 p.m. — A caller reported a man dizzy and dehydrated at Aldi’s on Pershing Drive.
4:22 p.m. — A caller reported a two-car crash on Roosevelt Drive.
5:35 p.m. — Police received a report of a Subaru with no plates crashing into a yard on Hawthorne Avenue.
8:10 p.m. — A fire alarm sounded at Superior Court on Elizabeth Street. There was no fire.

Saturday, Sept. 19

1:55 a.m. — Storm Ambulance was sent to Fifth Street to help an elderly resident who suffered an arm injury after a fall.
2:29 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a dispute at a residence on Hawkins Street.
2:55 p.m. — An ambulance crew was sent to help a man who may have been having a stroke on Sentinel Hill Road.
3:51 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a domestic argument at a house on Hawthorne Avenue. The male party involved talked to police and left the property to diffuse the situation.
6:43 p.m. — A caller said a man in a SUV may have had his pants down while observing people on the track off Chatfield Street. Police checked the area. No further information.
9:55 p.m. — Police received a noise complaint from Smith Street.
10:32 p.m. — A possible domestic violence incident was reported anonomously on 8th Street.

Sunday, Sept. 20

2:18 a.m. — Officers were sent to a report of a verbal dispute in the parking lot of Checker’s on Elizabeth Street.
10:43 a.m. — EMS was sent to Burtville Avenue to help a woman with chest pains.
9:16 p.m. — A domestic dispute was reported on Caroline Street.

Monday, Sept. 21

5:17 a.m. — A neighbor dispute was reported on Howard Avenue.
