Seymour First Selectman Kurt Miller announced Thursday he is considering seeking statewide office.
Miller did not specify what office he could seek, though it is not governor, according to a Facebook post.
“My plan is to spend the next few weeks talking with folks across the state to determine if I should move forward and what position on the under ticket would most benefit the state of Connecticut,” he wrote on Facebook.
Miller said he has formed an exploratory committee and a website, www.kurtforct.com.
“My goal is to raise the needed $75,000 in donations to qualify for the Citizen’s Election Program by early next year,” he wrote.
Miller was re-elected Tuesday to his fourth, two-year term. He did not have an opponent this year.
