ANSONIA — As part of the ongoing road construction on Wakelee Avenue, there will be road closures over the next two days, Wednesday 9/19/18 & Thursday 9/20/18.
Wakelee Avenue from Division Street to Franklin Street will be closed to through traffic, only local residents and businesses and their customers will be allowed access to Wakelee Avenue.
The road closure is being done to accommodate paving from Division Street to Dwight Street.
All traffic will be northbound, officers will be stationed throughout the route and signs will be posted.
The Ansonia Police Department recommends commuters take alternate routes and avoid the Wakelee Avenue area unless you live or have business in the area.
