Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti announced that Beyond Home Care Staffing Service, LLC (Beyond) is coming to downtown Ansonia.

Beyond will be bringing 10 new employees into the downtown area at 360 Main St.

The newly renovated office space, that is conveniently located on Main Street will become home to Beyond’s new corporate office.

While establishing themselves in Ansonia, those that seek employment, training and education from their new location, will also be coming into Ansonia. In addition to healthcare services that Beyond already provides, they also have a uniform store BEYONDSCRUB”. Beyond Homecare Staffing Service is in the process of opening a school of medical training offering phlebotomy, certified nurse’s aide certification, physical therapy assistant certification and more just to mention a few.

This is another exciting development that will help to add to the transformation already occurring downtown. We will have added foot traffic and more buying power for our restaurants and retail!” said Mayor Cassetti.

Beyond Home Care Staffing Services, LLC will cover Ansonia, Derby, Shelton in addition to the 10 other cities they currently cover. Services provided include homemaker, companion, personal care assistant, home health aide, and certified nurse’s aide with an excellent track record of being in business for well over 10 years. The company estimates moving in within the next 4 – 5 months, as building owners complete renovations.

Our downtown is being recharged. Our city is being recharged. The Mayor’s pro-business climate is resulting in some very well established commercial businesses moving in to Ansonia’s downtown and the increased foot traffic associated with these businesses will result in an even better climate for our retail and restaurant establishments.” Said John Marini, Corporation Counsel.

Barbara Yvette Gonzalez is the owner and operator of the company. She has been in the healthcare industry for over ten years.

Our business is growing as the demand for qualified, trusted aides and assistants increases. People want to remain in their homes and want to have peace of mind. There is a need and we have developed a quality product to address that need. I am excited about bringing our services into Ansonia and the Lower Valley and I look forward to a great partnership with Mayor Cassetti and his administration. ” Said Yvette.

Beyond Homecare Services will also train Certified Nursing Assistants at the new location. The new lease is for a period of five years.

I want to be sure to credit Jerry Nocerino and his son Jeremy. They are helping Mayor Cassetti transform downtown. We are seeing a nice mix of retail, commercial and restaurants opening up. We are also focusing our efforts on helping to foster residential density in our downtown. The planned residential units coming on board will drive further development in the downtown area.” Said Sheila O’Malley, Economic Development Director for the Ansonia.
