“Commissioner (Sam) Pollastro and Chief (Gerald) Narowski accept a donation at the Derby Police Commission meeting from AIEP Host Families c/o David Guerrera for $5,000 toward restarting our Police K9 program.
Thank you and welcome to our community!”
Editor’s note: AIEP is the company that purchased 101 Marshall Lane, formerly home to the Marshall Lane Manor nursing home. AIEP is renovating the building into a dormitory-style campus for high school students from overseas who will be attending private schools in the region, such as Notre Dame West Haven, Notre Dame Fairfield, Fairfield Prep, Lauralton Hall, Hamden Hall, and Easton Country Day School.
A grand opening of the new facility is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19.
