At a press conference held Monday Banko’s Music announced its music lineup for their inaugural “Rock The Summer” event at Nolan Field.
The festival July 28 will feature legendary regional group and recording artist NRBQ, with preceding act Deep Banana Blackout, a nine piece rhythm and funk band.
Here’s some rockin’ video of NRBQ:
The event will benefit the recently formed Banko’s Music Foundation to benefit music students throughout the valley.
Admission is free, with a suggested $10 donation.
Food trucks will participate along with a beer and wine garden.
