O’Sullivan’s Island Fishing and Viewing Platform Information Session

The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) secured grant funding to construct a fishing and viewing platform at O’Sullivan’s Island. The grant was awarded by the GE/Housatonic River CT Trustee Sub-Council and is administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
HRP Associates, Inc. was selected to conduct design and engineering services and to provide construction oversight. To date, HRP has proposed a conceptual design and has researched required permitting processes. The proposed design and preliminary project schedule will be presented to the public 6pm Monday, June 17, 2019.
The meeting will be held in the Aldermanic Chambers at Derby City Hall – 1 Elizabeth Street, Derby, CT 06418.
