Seymour High School Cheerleaders Take First In Competition

Seymour High School cheerleaders took first place in the Division IV Regional Championship at Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Mass. this past weekend.

There were a total of 10 squads competing in the Division IV. Seymour’s squad has 22 girls on it.

This was the last competition for the year, according to cheer coach Ashly Scharn.

“Winning the competition is a very high honor and a great way to end and already outstanding year,” Scharn said in an e-mail.

CONTRIBUTEDOxford High School took second place in the division competition.
