SHELTON — A Bridgeport Avenue bank was robbed Monday morning.
In a prepared statement, Detective Christopher Nugent said the robbery occurred about 10 a.m. in the Key Bank at 704 Bridgeport Ave.
“The suspect pictured in surveillance footage passed the teller a note demanding money from the teller and implying that he had a weapon,” Nugent said.
There were no injuries.
“Anyone that may have information regarding the bank robbery or suspect information can contact the Shelton Police Department at (203) 924 ‑1544,” Nugent said. “Calls will be kept confidential.”
