Stuff-A-Bus Event At Shelton High School Wednesday, Dec. 12

Faith Tremblay, a SHS sophomore, and her mom, in conjunction with the SHS Cheerleaders, have put together a Stuff-a-Bus for her community service project.

The event will take place at SHS on Wednesday, Dec. 12, with all monetary donations and new unwrapped toys donated to Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Toy Closet.

Several guests will be on campus this day as both the radio and television stations are supporting the drive.

KC 101 afternoon DJ Adam Rivers and 2015 American Idol Winner Nick Fradiani will be at the drive between 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and then News Channel 8 traffic reporter Alyssa Taglia and Miss CT 2018 Bridget Oei will be there from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The bus, donated by Durham, will be staged with an enclosed trailer by the bocce courts.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy or monetary donation to the SHS bocce courts on Dec. 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
