“Downtown Trick or Treat is happening this Saturday, October 29, 2022. This event is rain or shine. Those wishing to participate in the parade are asked to meet at the corners of First and Bank Street by 12:45 pm. The Seymour Middle School will be leading the parade. Participating businesses will greet be handing out candy from 1:30 — 3:00 pm. Thank you, Cultural and Arts Committee, for putting this together.”

DERBY– After a successful first-year event that saw more than 200 people attend, the Halloween ‘Touch-A-Truck’ organized by the Derby Police Department is scheduled to return from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. The rain date is Sunday.
The event will be in the parking lot of the Derby High School/Middle School campus. Families are welcome to explore police cars, fire trucks, an ambulance and large construction vehicles and tow trucks. Kids can collect candy while supplies last.
