Michelle Ann Maleszewski entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 16, 2018 peacefully with her mother by her side at her home in Eatontown, NJ.

She was born on August 26, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of Harriet (Lynn) Maleszewski and the late Joseph (Bill) Maleszewski. Michelle was a devout communicant of St. Dorothea Church of Eatontown, NJ.

She attended local schools and worked at Christ Hospital for 18 years until she decided to attend nursing school where she was employed at Gateway Care Center as a Registered Nurse and Supervisor for 25 years until she retired due to illness. It wouldn’t be a true account of her life if it didn’t mention the love she had for all animals, especially her Great Danes Bamboo, Jiffy and Honey.

Besides cooking, she loved traveling, especially to the Islands. She loved the beaches in Jamaica and Haiti among others. She will be missed by those who knew her and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Harriet Maleszewski of Oxford. Michelle was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Joseph and Pauline Maleszewski and her maternal grandparents Michael and Josephine Mulica.

A Funeral Service in Celebration of Michelle’s Life will be held on Monday, December 24, 2018 at 9:00 am in the chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street, Ansonia. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Derby.
