Ansonia, like the rest of the U.S. and beyond, is still being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result, lots of people in the U.S. are voting by absentee ballot. In-person voting is still very much an option. Scroll down below.

If you haven’t received an absentee ballot application or an absentee ballot, your best bet (given the date) is to call the experts and get specific instructions straight from the source:

The Ansonia Registrars’ office suggests mailing the ballots as soon as possible.

From the Registrars’ website: To ensure your absentee ballot is counted, please consider mail times for your ballot to reach City Hall. The United States Postal Services advised mailing ballots by Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020.”

Note: On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Gov. Ned Lamont urged people to drop off their ballots in their local drop-off box, given the fact that Election Day (Nov. 3) is so close.

You should not rely on #USPS mail delivery at this point,” Lamont said in a Tweet..
