There has been yet another threat aimed at Shelton High School, police said Friday afternoon.
This time a note was found mentioning a threat having to do with the air conditioning system inside the building, Shelton police said.
Police and firefighters were sent to the scene. Students and staff were sent outside.
The building was then declared safe. Classes were not canceled.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
“For investigative purposes, the specific contents of the note will not be released,” police said in a prepared statement.
Seymour Middle School also received another threat Friday morning. The building was evacuated, and students waited outside while police investigated.
About noon, students were allowed to return to the middle school building. No other details were available on that specific threat as of 2 p.m. Friday.
