It’s Election Day.
That means traffic on the Valley Indy and our sister site, the New Haven Independent, will be heavy.
In 2011, the Valley Indy crashed as results came in. Traffic to the sites was simply overwhelming.
Well, that could happen again.
In the event you can’t get on the site after the polls close, please visit the Valley Indy Facebook page, where we will also post results.
We’re hoping the site will be able to make it through the night and steps are being taken to ease the load (example — we won’t have photos on the front page during crunch time), but you never know.
