As part of its ongoing charitable giving efforts throughout its territory of New Haven, Litchfield, and Fairfield Counties, AAA Northeast presented Griffin Hospital’s Safe Kids Greater Naugatuck Valley Coalition with a major donation for the purchase of child passenger safety seats.
The coalition conducts monthly clinics to educate parents on the proper installation of car seats and when necessary, provides free car seats to qualified recipients. AAA’s Traffic Safety Educator Adelle Zocher, center, presents Monica Oris, the hospital’s director of population health left and Cathi Kellett, coalition coordinator of SafeKids Greater Naugatuck Valley Coalition with a $2,500 check.
