Adam’s House Ribbon-Cutting Sept. 8 In Shelton

CONTRIBUTEDShelton Mayor Mark Lauretti will help cut the ribbon to officially open Adam’s House, a nonprofit grief education center, on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. at 241 Coram Ave.

Adam’s House is holding a free public Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the launch of caring, no-cost grief educational programs for Connecticut children and families.

Adam’s House has warmly invited community members and dignitaries, including Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce President William E. Purcell, to attend the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, volunteers will offer guided tours of the 18 rooms at Adam’s House. After undergoing extensive remodeling, the charming Victorian home features warm, inviting meeting spaces and colorful, playful murals in rooms for children.

Throughout the day, light fare and refreshments will be served.
