Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter Announces Volunteer Recruitment Events

The Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter is calling on individuals across the state to join the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia in 2025. The organization is recruiting volunteers for various positions that directly support its mission to create a world without Alzheimer’s disease.

You can join one of two virtual Volunteer Information Sessions — January 15th at 8am or 7pm — to learn more about opportunities within the Alzheimer’s Association. Whether you prefer engaging with the community in person, assisting with event organization, sharing your story or lending your technical skills, the Alzheimer’s Association has something for everyone.

Volunteers play an essential role in helping us move closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s,” said Ginny Hanbridge, Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter. We’re looking for individuals eager to make a meaningful impact through various activities, programs, and events. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.”

Volunteer positions are available in various areas, including the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and The Longest Day fundraising events, community education and outreach, advocacy, telling your dementia story in the media and more, allowing volunteers to choose the role that best suits their interests and schedule.
