Following last year’s incredible turnout of over 350 runners, this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better — now featuring a kids’ race sponsored by the Storm Engine Co. #2 before the main event.

This race has become exactly what we envisioned — a true community event,” said David Lenart, race organizer. Seeing families come together, neighbors cheering on runners from their front yards, and local businesses supporting the cause — it’s everything we hoped for. We had a great time last year, and we’re looking forward to another amazing race day.”

The Ambulance Driver 5K is more than just a race — it’s a celebration of fitness, fun, and local support. Thanks to our amazing partners, Bad Sons Brewery and Dew Drop Inn, runners and spectators alike can enjoy a fantastic post-race atmosphere.

Runners are encouraged to sign up now to take advantage of early bird pricing, which expires this Monday. Don’t miss your chance to join this exciting summer tradition in Derby!
