Anglican Church of the Resurrection holds its second in a series of seminars at their Ansonia location.
The congregation and priests of the Anglican Church of the Resurrection, 6 Church Street, Ansonia would like to invite the general public throughout the Valley region to their second “Re-4m” seminar for 2012 which will be called “The Power of Forgiveness: Healing Hearts and Relationships.”
The seminar will be held on Saturday, March 31, from 9:00 am till 2:00pm.
Speakers will include Fr. Matt Mirabile of the parish and guest speakers Marios and Elaine Tsangarides.
Marios is a Deacon and former physicist with GM. His wife, Elaine is one of the founding partners of Belsay Christian Counseling Center which opened its doors in 1992.
Dr. Tsangarides holds advanced degrees in education and in counseling, a doctorate in Christian counseling psychology. She is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Michigan and is opening a practice here in CT. She is also on the referral list for Focus on the Family.
Lunch will be served. There is no fee for the seminar but donations of food for the homeless are appreciated. All are invited.
This “Renew” seminar will focus on recovering the heart from the wounds of bitterness and unforgiveness. It is the second in a series of seminars on the theme of “Re-4m” (reform).
These seminars each will focus on 4 “R’s” – Restore, Renew, Recenter, Recover.
Father Matthew Mirabile of the parish states that, “This seminar will explore some of the biblical foundations of forgiveness and lay out a map of forgiving for those who struggle to do so. It will also cover how unforgiveness hinders healthy relationships.
The material in this seminar will enlarge the experience of anyone who prays, challenge others, and will help those who seem to struggle with praying.
