ANSONIA – Representative Kara Rochelle is hosting the annual Lower Valley Job Fair on Wednesday, June 25th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ansonia High School, with more than 50 employers looking to hire job seekers from the community.
The Lower Valley Job Fair features companies from a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, education, transportation, social services, and more. These companies offer jobs with a variety of pay scales and work schedules.
Representative Rochelle is partnering with Career Resources, American Job Center, The WorkPlace, and the Connecticut Department of Labor to offer this free event to the community. No registration is required for attendees.
On-site career guidance and resources will also be offered throughout the event, including free headshots, resume and interview coaching, and information about apprenticeship and education programs. Those planning to attend are highly encouraged to bring several copies of their resumes to share with prospective employers.
Companies will have various opportunities including job openings from entry level to advanced, and numerous training programs. This event is a can’t-miss opportunity for anyone looking for a job or interested in learning about the different employment options around our communities.
