Representative Kara Rochelle (D – Ansonia, Derby) is hosting the annual Lower Valley Job Fair on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ansonia High School with more than 50 employers looking to hire job seekers from the community.
The Lower Valley Job Fair features companies from a diverse range of industries such as health care, transportation, social services, education, construction, banking, manufacturing, and more, offering jobs with a variety of pay scales and work schedules.
Rep. Rochelle is partnering with Career Resources of the American Job Center, The Workplace, and the Connecticut Department of Labor to offer this free event to the community. No registration is required.
Additional special features include free headshots, information on job training programs, résumé and interview coaching services, free door prizes, snacks, and more. Stefanie’s Closet will be onsite as well to provide business attire to anyone who may need it. Those planning to attend are also encouraged to bring several copies of their résumé to share with prospective employers.
With job offerings from entry level to advanced, plus apprenticeship and training programs, this is a do-not-miss opportunity for anyone looking for a job, seeking an upgrade or just seeing what is out there at this one-stop employment shop for the entire community.
