An Amber alert out of Ansonia was canceled Sunday morning, police said.
An alert was sent Saturday night for 11-year-old Tyrese White, who was visiting Ansonia from out-of-state.
Police said his grandmother took him to a relative’s residence in the Bronx.
“This is not a case of a forced abduction,” police spokesman Lt. Andrew Cota said.
