Ansonia police are looking for a person who entered into a woman’s residence and climbed onto her bed.
According to a statement from Lt. Andrew Cota, police were sent to 36A Platt St. at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of a burglary.
A 22-year-old woman told police she had just been awoken by a person climbing on her bed.
“When the female noticed there was a person in her room, she covered her head and waited for the person to leave,” Cota said.
Officers searched the house but were unable to find a suspect.
The victim was not able to provide a description of the person.
“It appears as if entry was gained through an unlocked window,” Cota said.
Two cell phones and some medication — which were near the woman while she slept — were stolen.
Anyone who may have seen anything should call police at 203 735 1885.
