Two 18-year-old Howard Avenue resident were arrested Friday and accused of selling cocaine.
On Friday at about 4:30 p.m., the Ansonia Police Anti-Crime Unit, along with Ansonia patrol officers, detectives, members of the Derby police and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency raided a residence at 88 Howard Avenue “in search of narcotics,” according to a prepared statement.
About two ounces of crack cocaine and some $1,300 in cash was seized as evidence, police said.
Neighbors had complained about drug dealing in the area, triggering an investigation in which police obtained search and arrests warrants from Superior Court in Derby.
