Attention Ansonia residents: in an effort to serve your area better the Ansonia Fire Department will be participating in a water supply drill on Sunday, Aug. 11th from 9 a.m. to no later than noon.
There will be a large hose run from Hull Street and Silver Hill to Beech Street and Silver Hill.
Access to the area will be limited, but not denied.
There will be firefighters stationed along the way.
If you need to get out let one of them know and we will get you out as soon as possible.
We are training in this area due to increased spacing of hydrants in the neighborhood.
Firefighters will be walking the neighborhood Wednesday (Aug. 7) around 6 p.m., going door-to-door talking to the residents and leaving flyers for ones that aren’t home.
